LECTURES

Pat and Rosemarie Keough greatly enjoy giving talks and have presented to enthusiastic audiences in the UAE, Europe, Australia, Antarctica and North America. Their experiences cross many disciplines and as such the Keoughs tailor their lectures for businessmen and women, scientists, explorers, bibliophiles, photographers, book artists, students and the general public. In addition, since 2009 the Keoughs have been sharing their passion for photography with travellers and explorers on expedition ships. Rosemarie and Pat are clear and energetic teachers of photography. They are also quite the story tellers. Here's where they have been giving presentations:

Pat and Rosemarie are strong lecturers. They relate well to one another and engage their audiences with their stories, images, enthusiasm and energy.
They are an amazing couple who are absolute artists in all they do.

                                                                                              Richard Haskayne, Calgary, Canada

Rosemarie and Pat keep their audience mesmerized with their fascinating
story-telling that accompanies some of the finest art photography I have seen.

                                                                                              David Friesen, Friesens Corporation

Pat and Rosemarie Keough were a pleasant surprise, especially on
the long passage from St Martin. They were very entertaining
AND educational. Their knowledge and experience of
photography and travel were stunning.

                                                                                              Fred Read, North Carolina, USA

Rosemarie and Pat were the finest and most helpful lecturers I have ever
encountered and with the most worldwide wealth of knowledge.

                                                                                              William Clark, Anchorage, Alaska

VERY useful were the seminars on photography and South Pacific history
presented by Pat and Rosemarie Keough. These two people were.
absolutely spellbinding during their history lecture. And their secrets
in capturing captivating shots were particularly useful for anybody with a
high-end camera or smart-phone.

                                                                                              Tim Zimmerman, USA

I reserve my absolute highest marks for Pat and Rosemarie Keough.
Their knowledge and expertise were world class exceptional.
I attended every class and every lecture. Beyond that, they were kind,
helpful, gracious and very patient and encouraging to those of us who
wanted to learn all we could. I have the utmost regard for their work,
their commitment, and for them personally.

                                                                                                                    Dr. Holden

It was an absolute highlight to meet Rosemarie and Pat.
We learnt so much from them both, not just about the wonderful world
of photography but about looking closely at the beauty that is around us
and about being generous to others with one's time.
The two of them were very busy but never too busy to talk or help someone out.

                                                                                              Zita and Jim Peach, USA

Your [Pat & Rosemarie’s] exquisite video re-cap of our wonderful voyage
to Antarctica has overwhelmed us! Bill and I are so touched, so thankful,
and so delighted to have this most special video that we shall treasure forever.
Had you been in the audience last night when your video ended,
you would have seen many of us crying. I can only explain the emotional impact
by saying that God has mightily gifted you with unique talents to bring forth
with tenderness and power the world around us.
Getting to know you has been a true highlight of our trip.

                                                                                              Nancy and Bill Drushel

I learnt more from Rosemarie in two short sessions than I did
in a 7-day photography trip to New Zealand last year.
Great to have access to a professional with an ability to explain
in simple terms, and show lots of examples.

Guest - Svalbard, Realm of the Polar Bear

Rosemarie and Pat’s program is brilliant as just about everyone on the ship
has a camera but not a lot of knowledge on how best to use it.
This has opened up a brand new interest that I never realized
could be so absorbing. Thank you!

Guest - Svalbard, Realm of the Polar Bear

Many of us really appreciate Rosemarie’s time and effort. She was available
even when she was at her busiest. Rosemarie, you are an amazing person
and a really great photographer.

Guest - Svalbard, Realm of the Polar Bear

My wife said I should come to your lectures. And I could understand
everything you said. Other speakers talk too fast. You are very good.
I'm going to take out my camera now when I get home. I love your talks.

                                                                                                              Arvid, Norway

Your passion definitely shows through. You really opened our eyes
to topics you don't normally think about. Really interesting.

                                                                                                              Ed & Radine,USA

Rosemarie and Patrick Keough, guest lecturers for Photography,
made the cruise most memorable. Not only were they completely avail to
respond to our neophyte cell phone questions but selfless in sharing knowledge
and high seas adventures. Well attended presentations renewed the attendees’ desire
in improving photography skills and gave the guests a common interest
early in the cruise. So beneficial on many levels. Truly a major plus to our sail.

Guest – Tahiti & Tuamotu Islands
